Ruthin Inner Wheel International Evening

Chifundo received a very warm welcome from Ruthin Inner Wheel on Tuesday evening 10th February. Everyone enjoyed a banquet buffet of home cooking.  Susan spoke about the work of Chifundo and there was real interest in the work of the charity.

Soughton Hall, Ruthin Inner Wheel

Susan, Pam and Vicky have been to Soughton Hall, near Ruthin, for an event with about 40 women from Soughton Hall Ruthin Inner Wheel.  The invitation came thanks to Christine.  Susan gave an illustrated talk and there were some good questions afterwards and a real interest.

UK Orders Received

Chifundo UK and Chanasa have received two UK orders these are from The One World Shop in South Petherton, Somerset and from the And Albert Shop, a fair trade shop on the rows in Chester.

Fashion Show at Ellesmere Port

On 4th June 2014 Chifundo took part in the West Cheshire College Summer Fashion Show.  Seven ladies and a gentleman modelled clothes that been upcycled with fabrics from Malawi and showed accessories that had been made with Malawian fabrics.
